We have had a busy first term of 2025. Many fencers signed up for our classes and lesson packages and many new fencers being intoduced into our level 1 classes aswell as moving into a new venue.
New Venue
Our new venue is coming together, and I am currently installing the scoring boxes and wiring on the walls and in the false ceiling. Even though the fencing area is larger than what we previously had, due to our growth over the past few months, it still feels insufficient. I might address this in the future by setting classe limits based on age and assigned levels.
Termly Fencing
The termly fencing payment structure has worked perfectly for our planing, rent payments and paying the coaches wages.
Individual lessons have and always will be an integral part of the fencing learning process. It is recommended that fencers have at least 1 lesson per week in a regular time slot for best progress results. But for level 2 and 3 we have given two options for each.
